This is a 4 day/ 3-night adventure for local youth ages 10-16 years old. We will be camping at the Wahweap Campground and paddling kayaks and paddle boards on Lake Powell.

About the event
Paddling camp for youth ages 10-16 from Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. We will spend 4 days and 3 nights learning to safely using kayaks and paddle boards at the Lake Powell. We will be camping at the Wahweap Campground near Page, AZ. The campground and lake are surrounded by beautiful red rocks and desert landscape with some hiking and walking trails nearby.
Some of the skills and experiences the youth will be exposed to:
Water recreation safety
Paddling safety and basic paddling skills
Fire starting and fire safety
Leave No Trace outdoor stewardship principles
